This past season, Destination: Deep Space, was filled with wonderful moments that would not have been possible without the amazing support of our sponsors, mentors and parents. Tachyon, our competition robot was fast and light, and helped transport our team to victories at the SF Regional and the Utah Regional. We also won the Galileo Division at Championships, placed 4th overall at Championships in Houston. During the offseason, Tachyon won at Chezy Champs and MadTown Throwdown.
We are getting ready for the off-season competitions. On September 19-20 will will be competing at Chezy Champs at Bellarmine College Prep and on October 2-3 we will be competing at CalGames at Lynbrook High School.
We were able to make our robot using our new CNC Router.
On October 5th and 6th Spartan Robotics competed at the CalGames robotics competition at Woodside High School. This is the winning alliance taking a break between elimination matches.
Many thanks to the students, mentors, parents, sponsors, and volunteers that made this happen!
After playing in qualification matches, 971 ranked second right behind the Cheesy Poofs. We accepted their gracious invitation to their alliance, and the two scouting departments combined forces to choose team 2489, the Insomniacs. Everyone did a fantastic job, and we went through all of the elimination matches, winning our final match by just two points!
