Maker Faire 2014 Demo

Robot at Maker Faire with enthusiastic fans

On May 18th, our team demoed Mammoth at Maker Faire 2014 in San Mateo, CA. It was quite an exciting event with many cool inventions and entertainment. We were given a spot in the WRRF booth to showcase our robot with other FIRST robotics teams in FLL and FTC and had a blast with our friends The Wildhats from Woodside High School. We talked with many people about what we do in FIRST and how our robot works. We got positive feedback about being high-schoolers invested in robotics. During the demo, we scored many goals and practiced passing the ball around with The Wildhats. Overall, this fair was successful and we had the opportunity to meet people from all around the Bay Area who were enthusiastic about meeting the next generation of engineers.
