The FRC CalGames competition is coming up on Saturday October 25 at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose CA. Archbishop Mitty High School is located at 5000 Mitty Way in San Jose. The schedule is as follows:

FLL needs some volunteer referees to help out with the local Robotics
tournament. Consider coming for a Sunday afternoon and
seeing the amazing work these robots do!
#1. The Scrimmage. Sunday October 26^th 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Blach
Middle School, Los Altos
#2. The Regional Competition. Sunday Nov 23^rd . 1:00 - 6:00 pm Blach
Middle School, Los Altos.
There will be a short training to prepare for the competition.

WRRF will be holding robotics-related workshops on Saturday, September 27th from 8:30 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon at Santa Clara University. The workshops include:

The team is going to CalGames at Archbishop Mitty High School from October 24th to 25th! CalGames uses the pervious year's challenge for an off-season competition. The set up day is the evening of the 24th and the competition day is the 25th. All returning and new team members are invited to attend CalGames.

Team 971 performed well at the Silicon Valley Regional at San Jose State University. The robot, "Not Me" ranked 12th out of 48 teams and made it all the way to the quarterfinals!

The team went to the Poof's lab!
Members of Spartan Robotics went to the lab of Team 254, the Cheesy Poofs, to test out driving and hurdling with the robot. The visit was successful as the team gained driving and robot function experience while finding and fixing any bugs.

The added pictures include prototyping on January 12, our first day of assembly of the robot for the season, and working hard four days before the ship date.
